What
This program allows students to provide language support for incoming patients and families navigating hospitals in predominantly English-speaking settings.

Why
Project Link is committed to engaging the public to foster awareness and inspire action in the realm of global health equity, and are keen on increasing equity within the medical field and feel that every patient deserves the same quality care, regardless of their ethnicity or spoken language.
The program is currently established at multiple hospitals and clinics, including Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington, and at the Seattle/King County Clinic.
New partnerships are underway at a few other hospitals in Washington as well as in our other chapter states and cities.
Language should not be a barrier to getting quality care.
